No Splendour
Currently suffering "pre-splendour-didn't-get-tickets-hype-is-building-for-everyone-else-who-is-actually-going" depression.
1. I will not get to see Miike Snow, Lana del rey, Angus Stone, 360 (lol yeh) or The Kooks perform for me
2. I will be either at work or doing regular mediocre weekend things
3. I cannot cure a hangover with the sweet live sounds of above artists.
4. It would have been a perfect pre-exchange holiday
5. My friends and I could have done exciting camping activities, like creating a dutch oven.
6. I cannot go frolicking in the grass making new friends
7. Any chances of bumping into/becoming a groupie for my favourite acts are eliminated
I could continue this list all night :(

Insight
It's nice to find out that people still read the nonsense I post on here :)
So watch this space, as it's only 4 weeks until I head over to the US of A for 5 months of adventures and experiences that I hope to share on here!

Tea party
One of mine and Rachy's favorite activities is eating. So we ventured to 16th on Park for a nice Monday morning high tea, minus the complimentary champagne (it just doesn't sit well with salmon sandwiches).
After the waiter announced that "nobody can ever finish the entire serving" we accepted the challenge and came oh so close before having to retire and walk it off with a stroll by the river.
