A photo freezes a moment in time, exactly how it is, and soon to be exactly how it was. When you look at that photo, you can see every little detail about that person. What they were doing, what they were wearing, how old they are (roughly anyway). But you can't see what they were thinking.
If you saw a photo of me right now, you'd see me sitting at the computer at work, typing this, with empty pistachio shells next to me in some tupperware.
You wouldn't see me thinking about the day I finally (if I ever) get an iPhone.
You wouldn't see me thinking about whether my little sister will like the earrings I bought her today, for her 11th birthday on Sunday.
And you wouldn't see me thinking about how ugly my haircut was around the time I went to Fiji.
But I guess you'd probably prefer to just glance at a photo of me how I am now, rather than go to the trouble of reading this and go to the extra depth of learning what I'm thinking. Because really, there's no point to this blog. Its just more irrelevant nonesense.
Have a good morning/day/afternoon/night!
