new betch at work: Hi my name's *forgotten already*
me: Hey I'm Julia. Do you wanna work here at this desk, and I'll go into the other room, I have some study to do.
new betch at work: err ok then. When are you going on lunch?
me: Not sure, maybe like 12:30/1pm-ish?
new betch at work: Well you should go at 12:30 so I can go at 1.... how long do you get?
me: Half an hour. Yeah I'll see how I go with my work. So I'll leave between 12:30 and 1.
new betch: Well I'm leaving for lunch at one.
me: But we can't both be gone on lunch :S .... (no one will be here)
new betch: Yeah so you have to go at 12:30.
me: *glares*. I'll see how I go.

She only started just work at 12pm. I spoke to her for 2 minutes and want to push her over in the mud already.

in other news

I cracked.

And went for a maccas run last night.

With some night owls I hadn't seen in a while (a long while).

And devoured some fries dipped in a soft serve cone.

So I guess I won't be waiting until I get to New York, to eat Maccas again.

Besides that, I haven't left my house since Saturday.

All this studying is consuming me.

It's like some sort of winter hibernation.

can't wait.

14 days until I fly away.

Ok so after watching Josie make one of these, I've decided to do one too :)

But I am devastated about the sound falling behind after I uploaded it.

I don't know how to fix it :(

So I finally got my phone back but sadly it is not an iphone. in other news I can now blog straight from my phone!

Don't share your lunch with Optus

Day 1: Took my phone to Optus to be fixed. Got told it would take about 2 weeks.

Day 20: "So where's my phone?"

"It's with the subcontractor so let me call them, then call you back."

"Fine. I'll go make a sandwich."

"Ok so it'll be ready by the end of this week or next week."

Day 28: "You haven't told me my phone is ready yet."

"Let me check on the computer."

"-_-"

"It's with the subcontractor so we don't know when it will be ready."

"You suck"

Day 30: Find out from a friend of a friend that when Optus screwed her over, she complained to the Ombudsman and ended up with a free iPhone upgrade

.

Day 31: "I really want my phone back because I cannot survive without it."

"Its with the subcontractor so let me call them, then call you back."

"Oh thank-you so much that is so helpful."

"It's been delayed because they are waiting on parts for the phone. It'll be another 2 weeks. Call back again in 2 weeks"

"Where do you live? I want to egg your house."

I am now contemplating whether to wait the 2 weeks to complain or just complain now. The Ombudsman website is all like "try and solve your problem directly before you come crying to us"
