Maybe I've decided it takes too much effort, which is something I have recently been lacking.

No much actually.

Done anything cool recently?

Went to 3 job interviews in the past 2 weeks, if that counts as cool.

Well did you get any of them?

One called with a kind rejection. Another called but I missed it. The third is supposed to call me sometime this week. But I mean it's already Thursday afternoon. Hope is fading.

Anything to look forward to, to compensate for this lost hope?

Oh I can answer this one with yes. I'm watching the UQ Law Revue tonight (the funniest annual 2hrs of comedy I've ever experience) and attending the White Orchard Ball on Saturday night.

I know right. My boyfriend isn't as excited as I am, but then again, I get excited at the thought of putting make-up on. My dearest friend Rachel has lent me a beautiful (yeah Rach, I said beautiful) dress to wear and I promise not to spill anything on it.

I assume you mean alcohol?

Welll alcohol yes, but I'm personally more concerned with the food. There will be beer and wine there, but I'm a fan of neither. I'm just going to focus on making sure my food is in one of two places. My mouth or my plate.
